Samantha Sokoll, MA, LPC - Founder and Clinical Director

Hi! My name is Samantha, most people call me Sam. I am the founder of Soul Works Therapy and Wellness, a practice I built from the heart. I created this space because I deeply believe in the power of healing through connection. After seeing how difficult it can be to find authentic, affirming support, I wanted to offer a space where people could come as they are and be truly seen, heard, and supported.

Looking for a therapist can feel daunting, and reaching out for support takes real courage but just by being here, you’ve already taken a powerful first step. My hope is to help you step outside of your comfort zone to work through the hard things that may be weighing you down.

I’m a therapist and life coach with a passion for helping people reconnect with themselves, heal from their past, and step into the fullest version of who they are. Together, we’ll face the tough stuff with honesty, care, and compassion. I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you feel safe enough to explore your thoughts and feelings and begin your journey of emotional healing. I work at your pace, helping you tune into your inner voice and express yourself with clarity and confidence.

You’re invited to arrive just as you are, with whatever you’re carrying. There’s room for all of it here.

Nadia Berenjian, LCSW

Hi! My name is Nadia, and I'm so excited to meet you. Thank you for being here. I work with both individuals and couples and I am passionate about supporting clients through their journey and creating a safe space that fosters healing.

My goal is to always offer a warm and non-judgmental space where you feel seen and heard. A place where you are able to explore your individual challenges, process your experiences, and ultimately feel better. Clients often come to me when they’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected with their partner, or uncertain about how to move through a difficult season. Whether you’re struggling with relationship dynamics, managing stress and anxiety, facing a life transition, or simply feeling stuck... I’m here to help you make sense of it all.

I believe therapy should feel like a collaboration. We’ll take things at your pace to find an approach that supports your unique needs and goals, as I believe that can look different for everyone.

I look forward to working with you!

Veniece Dallo, LLMSW

Hey! I’m Veniece.

If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or just unsure of what’s next, you’re not alone and you’re in the right place. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported as you work through whatever’s weighing on you.

I take a person-centered, down-to-earth approach to therapy. That means I meet you where you are and we figure things out together. I work with adults navigating anxiety, boundary-setting, relationship struggles, and just the ups and downs of being human. We’ll explore what’s going on beneath the surface and find tools that actually feel helpful. No pressure, just progress at your pace.

Therapy doesn’t have to feel overwhelming or scary. It can be a space where you get to breathe, reflect, and feel a little more like yourself again. If that sounds good to you, I’d love to be part of your journey.

Lindsey Gehlhausen, LCSW

Hello and welcome! I’m Lindsey

I believe that healing begins in a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. My passion is helping children, families, and individuals navigate challenges while building stronger, healthier relationships.

I specialize in working with parents and young children, supporting secure attachment, emotional regulation, and overall family well-being. My experience as an Infant Mental Health Therapist has allowed me to walk alongside caregivers as they strengthen their bond with their child, heal from past experiences, and create nurturing environments for growth. Although this is what I specialize in, I do see clients of all ages.

I have provided therapy and crisis support in school settings, helping students manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and the stressors that impact learning and daily life. I also bring years of experience connecting families to community resources, advocating for their needs, and addressing barriers to stability and success.

I draw from approaches such as Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Trauma-Focused Care, Motivational Interviewing, and Infant Mental Health practices. My goal is to meet you where you are, empower you to recognize your strengths, and support lasting change.

Whether you’re a parent seeking support in bonding with your child, a student struggling to cope, or an individual navigating life’s challenges, I am here to help. Together, we’ll work toward building resilience, healing past wounds, and creating a path forward.

Edward Werdene, LLPC

Hey, I'm Eddie and I'm glad you're here.

Life has its ups and downs, and sometimes we all need extra support to find balance and meaning again. My goal is to walk alongside you during these moments, helping you navigate challenges, gain clarity, and reconnect with your best self.

I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Together, we’ll work toward building healthy coping skills, deepening self-understanding, and moving forward with confidence and purpose.

I am currently pursuing my PhD in Counseling at Oakland University, where I also earned my Master of Arts in Counseling. I have experience working with individuals ages 7 and older who are facing anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I also specialize in supporting couples, families, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

I approach therapy from a humanistic perspective, meaning that I believe each person has the inner strength and capacity to grow, heal, and thrive. My work is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect for your unique journey. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques to help you challenge unhelpful thoughts, manage emotions, and develop effective coping strategies.

Whether you’re navigating a life transition, healing from loss, or striving to improve your relationships, my goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered every step of the way.
