Hi! My name is Samantha, most people call me Sam. I’m glad you’re here. Looking for a therapist can be daunting and reaching out for help can sometimes be scary, but you’ve taken the first step and there is so much strength in that.

Therapy is a process, and being vulnerable can feel uncomfortable. It’s my hope that I can help you step outside of your comfort zone to tackle some of the difficult things that have brought you here. Together, we will work through some pretty tough stuff. I will provide a safe space for you to process your thoughts and emotions as they come and help you learn how to navigate through them on your journey to healing.

Let's Get Started

My goal is to create a supportive, non-judgmental space for you to unpack difficult feelings to help facilitate emotional healing. With compassion and understanding, I work with each client at their own individual pace to help build on their personal strengths and attain personal growth. Through a process of deep self-exploration, I will help you to connect with your innermost needs, desires, feelings, and communicate them with clarity and confidence. I believe the first step to a successful therapeutic relationship is meeting you where you’re at, and working together to achieve your goals towards your most authentic self.

My approach to working with clients is eclectic, utilizing evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), emotion-focused and person-centered approach. Meaning you are the expert on your experiences. I feel we are all different and deserve an individualized treatment approach tailoring therapy sessions according to your unique personality and treatment goals. I remain up to date with the latest evidence-based practices and research for an individual’s diagnosis.

You are invited to arrive as you are, with whatever thoughts and feelings are present for you.

Experience

I have worked with adolescents and adults extensively at various levels of care including partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and traditional outpatient therapy settings. I have facilitated individual, couples, and group therapy sessions.

Throughout my time at these levels of care, I have worked closely with individuals managing various concerns and diagnoses, from clients experiencing a mental health crisis to helping an individual through a life transition.
